Bout of Books 11: I'm in!

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. It's been a while since I took part in a read-a-thon and as soon as I saw Ellie sign up, I became aware of the full extent of my read-a-thon withdrawal.  I love Bout of Books for how relaxed and friendly it is and few things are as likely to make me feel as though I'm really missing out on something than watching the read-a-thon from the sidelines.  This time it falls perfectly on a week when my boss is away on holiday and I stand half a chance of getting away at a decent time to read during the week and includes a Saturday on which Boyfriend will potentially be  out watching rugby, leaving me with nothing to do but sit around (hopefully in the sunshine) and read.  Fate.

I'm going to leave the compiling of lists and setting of goals until nearer the time so let's just say this in the meantime: I. Am. Excited.
